West Tiffin Voyagers welcomes all FRVA Members who own a Tiffin Brand Product. We are seeking new members who want to help the chapter have fun and adventurous outings at locations west of the Mississippi River. Are you looking to join a group of like minded campers? Welcome to West Tiffin Voyagers. We are an FRVA Chapter (Formerly the Family Motor Coach Association) inviting all owners of Tiffin Brand Products who are members of FRVA to become part of our chapter. Our rally focus will be locations west of the Mississippi River; Area Rallies west of the Mississippi River; and all FMCA International Conventions.
As a chapter of FRVA, you must be a member of FRVA to be a member of West Tiffin Voyagers.
We are assigned as part of the Rocky Mountain Motorhome Association (Rocky Mountain Area of FRVA-rockymountainarea.com) but we participate in all FRVA Regions west of the Mississippi River. If you are not a member of FRVA, we invite you to attend a chapter rally and learn more about our chapter and FRVA.

OUR STORY
During July 2021 at the FMCA International Convention, Gillette, WY a few Tiffinites met and casually talked about forming an FMCA chapter for Tiffinites that would meet and hold rallies west of the Mississippi River. During October 2021 at the Rocky Mountain Motorhome Association Ramble, Tucson, AZ the idea of a new chapter continued to be discussed. During March 2022 a much larger group of Tiffinites gathered at the FMCA International Convention, Tucson, AZ for a potluck dinner and a couple of social hours. The idea of forming a new chapter continued to be discussed. After the convention a few of the Tiffinites continued to discuss forming a chapter via email and text messages. During August 2022 at the FMCA International Convention, Lincoln, NE a smaller group of Tiffinites gathered for a social hour and discussion about forming a new chapter continued with a decision that FMCA members owning Tiffin brand products would be contacted to gage an interest in forming a new chapter.
With the assistance of FMCA, members who owned Tiffin brand products were identified and contacted. The response was exciting, with over one hundred FMCA members showing interest in becoming part of the new chapter. A group of seventy-five members committed to being charter members. This group developed and adopted the chapter’s Bylaws and Standing Rules, elected chapter officers, and chose a chapter name: West Tiffin Voyagers. After holding an on-line chapter formation meeting the chapter formation documents and request were sent to FMCA during early December 2022.
While FMCA was reviewing the request, chapter members submitted ideas for a chapter logo and chose their favorite design. Officers worked in the background discussing the administrative needs of a new chapter such as a bank account, collecting dues, and how the chapter would invite new members to name a few. During this time a newsletter editor was recruited. To help spread the word of the pending new chapter a Facebook Group was created, and website launched.
On December 13, 2022, FMCA notified the chapter officers that the FMCA Executive Board had approved the charter of the West Tiffin Voyagers. During late 2022, the Texas Secretary of State recognized the West Tiffin Voyagers as a non-profit entity in the State of Texas.
As of August 2024, we are a chapter with 84 active coaches. We continue to have rallies and gatherings across states west of the Mississippi River and continue to seek out new members. If you are a Tiffin brand product owner, we hope you will consider joining us.
December 2024 Update: The chapter elected new officers, and a new newsletter editor was recruited.
January 2025 Update: The chapter officers adopted the new name Family RV Association as adopted by the former FMCA.
